What is Coaching All About?
|
 |
| |
- Coaching is designed for the person who desires to change his or her
personal, academic, or career goals. A coach helps people set better goals and then reach those goals. A coach
asks his or her clients to do more than they would have done on their own.
- Coaching helps the individual to identify and achieve goals through
assessment, discovery, reflection, goal setting and strategic action. A coach helps the client formulate plans of action, and then break them down into specific steps with time-lines.
- A coach is someone to hold you accountable for your life, to make sure you live up to your potential. A coach is your partner in living the life you know you can accomplish, both personally and professionally.
- Coaching is a relationship where a coach supports, collaborates with, and facilitates individual learning, building better awareness and more responsibility. A coach helps his or her clients to focus better so as to produce results more quickly.
- A coach provides clients with the tools, support, and structure to accomplish more.
